Plastic Raw Materials

Plastics are an essential raw material for a wide range of industries, and sourcing the right materials at the right prices is crucial for success. At our company, we specialize in finding and sourcing plastics, film, and sheet materials at affordable prices, whether you need small or large volumes. Our expertise extends to commodity plastics such as HDPE, LDPE, and PP, engineering plastics like PC, ABS, TPE, TPU, PA6, and PA66, as well as specialty plastics such as PPA, specialty nylon, PEEK, PEI, and PSU. Whatever your plastic raw material needs, we have the knowledge and connections to help you find the right supplier and bring the products to you. Let us help you source the plastics you need for success in your industry.

PC

Polycarbonate (PC) is a thermoplastic that's known for its remarkable strength, stiffness, and impact resistance. It's transparent, making it an ideal material for applications where optical clarity is important, such as eyewear lenses, bulletproof glass, and greenhouse panels. PC also has a high heat resistance and is used in various electronics, automotive components, and construction materials.

ABS

ABS is a common thermoplastic polymer and a tripolymer of poly(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene). It combines the strength and rigidity of acrylonitrile and styrene polymers with the toughness of polybutadiene rubber. ABS is widely used in the manufacturing of plastic toys (like LEGO bricks), electronic housings, auto parts, and consumer goods due to its good mechanical properties and ability to be injection molded.

TPE

Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) are a class of copolymers or a physical mix of polymers (usually a plastic and a rubber) which consist of materials with both thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. TPEs can be stretched to moderate elongations and return to their near original shape creating a longer life and better physical range than other materials. TPE is used in automotive applications, medical devices, toys, seals, and gaskets.

TPU

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) is a type of thermoplastic elastomer that has many desirable properties, including elasticity, transparency, and resistance to oil, grease, and abrasion. TPU is highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications, including phone cases, medical devices, footwear, and automotive instrument panels.

Nylons

Polyamide 6 and Polyamide 66, commonly referred to as PA6/Nylon 6 and PA66/Nylon 66, are the two most common types of polyamides. PA 6 offers excellent wear and abrasion resistance and has a good balance of strength and flexibility, widely used in textiles, automotive components, carpets, and industrial machinery parts. PA66 is known for its high mechanical strength, stiffness, heat resistance, and wear resistance. PA66 is commonly used in high-performance applications such as automotive engine components, electrical connectors, and zip ties.

PPA

Polyphthalamide (PPA) is a high-performance thermoplastic from the polyamide family that offers an excellent balance of thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties. It is known for its high heat resistance, strength, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for use in high-temperature automotive applications, electrical and electronic components, and various industrial uses.

PEI

Polyetherimide (PEI), also known as Ultem, is a high-temperature, high-performance thermoplastic material with excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. Its inherent flame resistance and low smoke production make it suitable for electrical/electronic applications, automotive under-hood applications, and medical devices.

PEEK

Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) is a high-performance thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties, even at high temperatures. It is used in applications requiring extreme performance, such as aerospace components, medical implants, and high-temperature engineering applications, due to its robustness, longevity, and resistance to thermal degradation and chemicals.

PSU

Polysulfone (PSU) is a type of thermoplastic polymer known for its toughness and stability at high temperatures. It offers excellent resistance to heat, oxidation, and chemical exposure. PSU is widely used in medical and food industry applications due to its ability to withstand repeated sterilization cycles, as well as in electrical and electronic components for its dimensional stability and insulation properties.
